Man Ray is an artist from USA but he has spent mos of his life in France, specifically in Paris.
His art style is surrealism but some think his style is close to Dadaism too. He didn't think himself belong to any of those two though.
Some of his work are considered "poetric" too
Apart from photography, he was a painter too. He took fashion and portrait photographs.
He did photograms too, which he called "Rayographs".
